The Ruko-244168 M8 Thread Bolt Breaker is an essential tool for repairing damaged threads. This device restores the functionality of screws and bolts, ensuring a secure and long-lasting fit. Its use is simple and consists of four key steps: drilling, tapping, mounting the threaded sleeve, and breaking the pin. First, the damaged thread must be drilled using a RUKO twist drill bit, ensuring the dimensions are suitable for the tap and bolt in the ProCoil set. Next, the new retaining thread is cut using a tap, preferably with cutting oil to facilitate the process. The sleeve is then mounted by inserting it into the threading tool, ensuring the retaining pin is correctly positioned. Finally, the retaining pin is broken off with the breaking mandrel, leaving the new thread ready for use.
