The Ruko-102261 tapered countersink is made of K20 carbide, with a maximum diameter of 6.3 mm. Designed for precise cutting of non-ferrous metals and hard plastics, it features a 90° countersinking angle and three cutting edges.

Description

The Ruko-102261 tapered countersink is a high-precision tool designed to deliver exceptional performance when countersinking various materials. Made of K20 carbide, this countersink features a split point cutting edge according to DIN 1412 C, allowing for a more efficient and precise start. Its 118° cutting angle and 20/30° taper angle ensure an optimal finish in every application. The right-hand cutting design and cylindrical shank make it easy to use in a wide variety of projects.

CBN grinding and the ingenious chip flute arrangement guarantee a clean cut, minimizing noise, vibration, and burr formation. This countersink is ideal for working with non-ferrous metals, steel, thermoplastics, and hard plastics, as well as sheet metal up to 4 mm thick.

Its integral carbide head makes it especially suitable for abrasive and high-alloy steels with a tensile strength exceeding 1,000 N/mm² and a hardness greater than 240 HB.
