What is an LED ceiling light vs a downlight?

A ceiling / flush light (plafón) usually mounts on the surface. A downlight is typically recessed. If you don’t want a ceiling cut-out, choose a surface plafón.

Integrated LED or E27/E14 holder?

Both exist. Integrated LED: no bulb changes. E27/E14: replace the bulb only. Check the product sheet.

What size do I need?

Check diameter vs room size: smaller for halls/baths; larger for living rooms (~20–60 cm many models). Also check body height on low ceilings.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Only with a suitable IP rating. An IP20 living-room light is not for showers.

Which colour temperature?

Warm (~2700–3000 K) living/bedroom; neutral (~4000 K) kitchen/halls; cool (≥5000–6500 K) daylight. Some LED models are CCT/tunable.

How is it installed?

Power off, fix to ceiling or junction box, connect L/N (and earth). Use an electrician if unsure.
